Pick Your Own Pumpkins at Gullivers Farm – Starting October 12th!
Autumn is here, and we’re thrilled to announce the start of Pick Your Own Pumpkins at Gullivers Farm Shop & Kitchen! Beginning October 12th, our pumpkin patch will be open 7 days a week from 10am to 3pm, giving you plenty of opportunities to visit us and pick the perfect pumpkin for carving, decorating, or cooking.
Whether you’re looking for a fun family day out, a seasonal adventure with friends, or the perfect backdrop for those autumn Instagram snaps, Gullivers Farm is the place to be!
What to Expect from Our Pick Your Own Pumpkins
Our pumpkin patch will be brimming with a variety of pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Bring your own bag or wheelbarrow (or borrow one of ours!) and explore the fields to find the pumpkins that speak to you.
The **Pick Your Own Pumpkins** will be open **every day** starting from **October 12th**, and will run all the way through to Halloween. This means you can come any day of the week between **9am and 3pm** to enjoy the pumpkin picking experience in the heart of the countryside.
Don’t Miss the West Moors Pumpkin Fest
While you can enjoy pumpkin picking every day at Gullivers Farm, we’re also excited to host two special weekends for our West Moors Pumpkin Fest October 12-13 and October 19-20.
These festival weekends will be packed with extra fun and festivities for the whole family, including:
- Tractor Rides: Hop on and take a scenic ride around the farm.
- Live Music: Enjoy live performances to keep the autumn vibes high.
- Food & Drink: Seasonal treats and farm-fresh meals from our Farm Kitchen.
- Fire Pit & S’mores: Toast marshmallows and make s’mores by the fire.
- Kids’ Activities: From pumpkin carving and decorating to farm games, there's plenty to keep little ones entertained.
The West Moors Pumpkin Fest will only take place during those two weekends, but Pick Your Own Pumpkins will be available every single day from October 12th!
Practical Tips
Since we’re on a working farm, be sure to wear suitable footwear and clothing. The fields can get muddy, especially if we’ve had rain, so wellies or sturdy boots are highly recommended. And remember, it’s always a good idea to dress in layers – the autumn weather can be unpredictable!
