HAMPERS
If your order contains any of the following items we will be unable to refund your order (including postage & packaging) once it has been delivered:
1. Fresh food gifts (including cheese, meat or fish)
2. Personalised and branded goods
3. Bespoke hampers.
Please note that from the time of receiving your written order we will purchase component parts relating to your hamper and we regret that these orders cannot be cancelled.
ORDER CANCELLATION
If you wish to cancel the order once it has been dispatched due to the following:
a) Incorrect delivery information provided
b) Carrier unable to deliver due to unavailability of recipient and the hamper is returned
Please notify us in writing within seven days to request a refund which will be given at 50% of the invoiced price of the hamper less the original delivery cost and the applicable return charges.
Please note that we are unable to issue refunds for bespoke hampers, personalised hampers, fresh hampers and hampers containing fresh items.
ALLERGENS
Some of the products within our hampers contain allergens such as nuts, egg, milk and gluten. Please contact us directly if you require further information.
HAMPER LISTINGS & SUBSTITUTIONS
We aim to keep our website as up to date as possible but we reserve the right to make changes to descriptions, contents, prices, delivery methods, add or delete products at any time.
All products are fully itemised and fairly described however, in the event of supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute any items with replacements of equal or higher quality and value that may or may not be listed in the contents section of the product descriptions. For special dietary hampers, suitable substitutions will be made.
All information included is correct as at the time that our brochure went online but please be aware that in the event that a substitution is made, the nutritional and allergen summaries which accompany each hamper on our website may not reflect the true contents of the gift. If you have any concerns in relation to allergens or any other dietary requirements, please contact us prior to purchase on 01202 619891.
All photographic props such as plates, glasses and other utensils are not included unless otherwise stated.
‘NO QUIBBLE’ POLICY – DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS
We operate a ‘No Quibble’ policy for order cancellation. You are allowed a 14 day cooling off period from the date of delivery. This means that we will refund the total cost of the product less the delivery charges (and less any out of area, named day or Saturday surcharges) to you, if you choose to cancel your order for any reason provided you comply with the below:
1. You notify us of your cancellation in writing (letter or email) to this address within 14 working days of delivery.
2. The goods remain unused and component parts are unopened.
3. You or the recipient retain and take reasonable care of the goods until returned.
4. Refunds will be issued upon receipt of the item.
CHALLENGE 25
As a responsible retailer, it’s really important to us that age restricted products don’t end up in the hands of those underage. We will not sell to under 18’s and we will not deliver to them either. We also recognise how difficult it can be for our carrier network to judge the age of someone in their mid-late teens or early twenties. Someone who looks 18 could easily be 16, likewise, they could easily be 20 or 22. It’s less likely, however, that they’ll be 25. For this reason, we ask all carriers to check the age of anyone buying restricted products who they believe to be under 25. Please be aware that you may be asked for proof of age upon delivery. See below for a list of IDs we accept as proof of age.
Current (within shown expiry date) passports or an equivalent form of identification such as a national identity card with a photo and date of birth (all nationalities)
Current (within shown expiry date) photographic driving licences or provisional licences and date of birth (all nationalities)
N.I. electoral ID cards (accepted in Northern Ireland)
Military IDs with a photo and date of birth (UK only)
Cards with a PASS logo (hologram below) such as Citizen, Connexions, Validate or Young Scot
Biometric residence permits (BRPs)
WINES & SPIRITS
Many of our gifts contain alcohol, therefore the minimum age to order these types of gifts is 18 years of age. It is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcoholic liquor under the Licensing Act 2003 if you are under the age of 18.
REDIRECTION OF GOODS
Please make sure you give the correct address and postcode for the recipient. Additional charges will be made for a failed delivery and an order is returned due to not being collected & redirection or for re-delivery due to address or postcode error.
VAT & DUTY
All prices include VAT at variable rates and duty charged at the rates prevailing. We reserve the right to amend prices according to legislative change. Not every item in a hamper is subject to VAT and therefore hampers may not incur standard VAT at the prevailing rate as the VAT is calculated on a weighted average basis.
Gift Card Terms and Conditions
1. Gift Card Issuer
The gift cards are issued by Gullivers Farm Shop & Kitchen, located in West Moors.
2. Redemption
Gift cards are redeemable for products and services at Gullivers Farm Shop & Kitchen. They cannot be used for online purchases or exchanged for cash.
3. Expiration
Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. After the expiration date, the card will not be valid, and any remaining balance will be forfeited.
4. Balance and Usage
The gift card balance can be used in full or part payment for purchases. If the total cost of the purchase exceeds the available balance, the difference must be paid by another method.
5. Non-Transferable
Gift cards are non-transferable and should be treated as cash. Gullivers Farm Shop & Kitchen is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cards, and such cards will not be replaced.
6. Refunds and Exchanges
Gift cards cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash or other cards. Purchases made with the gift card are subject to the store’s standard return policy.
7. Fraud Prevention
Gullivers Farm Shop & Kitchen reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or hold for review any gift cards suspected of being used fraudulently or in violation of these terms and conditions.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Gullivers Farm Shop & Kitchen reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from the use of gift cards will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
