WEST MOORS FARMFEST CHARITY GRANT

**Applications now open** to become a West Moors FarmFest 2024 charity partner!

ABOUT FARMFEST

West Moors FarmFest is an annual not-for-profit family friendly festival, raising funds for local charities, including Sturts Community Trust. Head to Sturts Farm on 8th June 2024 for live music, amazing food and drink and loads of stuff going on for the kids.

Sturts Community Trust is a working organic and biodynamic farm, providing opportunities and support to adults living with learning disabilities. 80% of funds raised by FarmFest will be put towards a new plough for the farm, with the remaining 20% of funds raised (up to a maximum of £600) shared as a one-off grant with another local charity.

WHO IS THE CHARITY GRANT FOR?

This year’s charity grant is open to schools, small voluntary or community organisations, such as food banks, school breakfast clubs, scout or brownie groups.

How to apply:

Like and share our post on the West Moors FarmFest and Gullivers Farm, Shop and Kitchen social accounts. Then send an application in via email. Please include the following information:

Basic information: About your group, including the name, address and charitable status.

• Detailed information: We’ll also need to know total annual income and expenses, if you have staff, how many, and your group’s background and mission statement. If you are a new organisation, you should provide a brief background for the key individuals within the organisation.

Project budget: FarmFest grants are 20% of total funds raised from the event, up to a maximum of £600. As part of the application process, we ask that you submit a budget for your project (in pounds sterling) that clearly demonstrates how you will spend the funds.

Your budget should match the amount you’re asking for and clearly show the individual costs you would like to be funded.
